Problem
The Challenge of Managing Money Across Multiple Tasks
Managing personal finances can feel overwhelming when users need to track spending, review transactions, transfer money, and understand their financial habits across different activities. Without a clear overview of their finances, it can be harder to recognise spending patterns and make informed decisions.
MOVA explores a more connected approach by bringing essential money-management tools and AI-powered financial guidance into one mobile experience.

Turning Financial Needs into Thoughtful Features
Before moving into high-fidelity designs, I mapped out the key interactions that would shape the MOVA experience. I focused on essential tasks such as checking account balances, sending and receiving money, reviewing transactions, and accessing the AI financial planner.
These flows helped me organise the app's navigation and establish a clear structure for the main screens before refining the visual interface.
Designs
Bringing MOVA to life through UI design
The high-fidelity designs bring MOVA's core experience together through a clean, modern mobile interface. A central dashboard highlights essential financial information, while dedicated screens support transfers, transaction history, adding and receiving money, and account management.
Consistent visual styling, clear information hierarchy, and straightforward navigation help create a cohesive experience across the app. The AI-powered financial planner adds another layer to the concept, exploring how intelligent financial guidance could fit naturally into everyday money management.
Lessons
What I learned and what's next
This project reinforced how strongly financial confidence is shaped by interface clarity rather than financial complexity itself. Throughout the redesign, I explored how hierarchy, spacing, and contextual feedback could reduce uncertainty during everyday financial tasks. One of the biggest learnings was recognizing how small interface decisions — such as grouping, transaction context, and action placement — significantly influenced how users interpreted information and navigated the product.
