EatSwift — Food Delivery App
EatSwift is a food delivery app concept designed to help users discover meals, browse food categories, explore restaurant offerings, and complete orders through a convenient mobile experience.

Overview
Making Food Discovery and Ordering Easier
EatSwift is a food delivery app concept designed to make finding and ordering meals more convenient. The experience brings food discovery, menu browsing, meal selection, and checkout into one mobile application.
From exploring popular dishes to reviewing an order summary, the interface is designed to guide users through the ordering journey with clear navigation and recognisable actions.
The Impact
The concept brings key stages of food ordering together in one experience, helping users move from browsing meals to reviewing their order and preparing to pay.

Problem
Making Meal Selection and Ordering More Straightforward
Choosing a meal involves more than finding something to eat. Users need to browse available options, compare meals and prices, select quantities, and understand the total cost before placing an order.
EatSwift explores how these steps can be organised into a clear mobile flow, reducing unnecessary complexity between discovering a meal and reaching checkout.
Research
Understanding the Food Ordering Journey
The design direction considers the main tasks involved in ordering food: discovering available meals, browsing categories, comparing menu options, and reviewing an order before payment.
These considerations informed the inclusion of food categories, popular meals, ratings, visible prices, quantity controls, and an order summary. Together, these elements establish a structure that supports the journey from meal discovery to checkout.

Ideation
Structuring a Seamless Ordering Experience
The app concept is organised around a simple ordering journey, beginning with onboarding and continuing through meal discovery, menu selection, and checkout.
A bottom navigation bar provides access to key areas such as Home, Our Menu, Explore, Favourites, and Profile. Food cards combine images, names, prices, and ratings, while the checkout screen groups selected items, quantities, coupon entry, delivery fees, and the order total in one place.
This structure connects the main features into a consistent ordering experience.
Designs
Bringing EatSwift to Life
The final interface uses a bold red-and-white visual identity, food photography, rounded cards, and prominent action buttons to create a recognisable food ordering experience.
The home screen highlights categories, deals, and popular meals. The menu screen presents food options with ratings and prices, while the checkout screen provides a breakdown of selected items, delivery fees, and the total amount due.
The design maintains consistent navigation and visual styling across the screens, helping connect each stage of the customer journey.

Lessons
Designing for Convenience and Clarity
EatSwift explores how visual hierarchy and clear task flows can support a mobile food ordering experience. Food imagery helps users scan meal options, visible prices support comparison, and a structured checkout makes the order details easier to review.
If developed further, the concept could be evaluated through usability testing to identify friction in meal discovery, quantity selection, and checkout. Further iterations could also explore order tracking, delivery status updates, and clearer feedback after successful payment.
